East Cobb, GA – Woman Killed in Two-Car Crash at Lower Roswell Rd and Old Paper Mill Rd

East Cobb, GA (May 15, 2026) – A woman died following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning at an East Cobb intersection. Emergency units responded to the crash at Lower Roswell Road and Old Paper Mill Road at approximately 11:06 a.m. on May 14.

Authorities said Yodit Momo, 57, of Atlanta, was driving a gray 2014 Toyota Camry westbound on Old Paper Mill Road when the vehicle collided with a white 2020 Dodge Ram towing a trailer. Investigators said the Dodge Ram was traveling eastbound on Lower Roswell Road when the Toyota entered its path at the intersection.

The impact caused both vehicles to come to rest on the north shoulder of Lower Roswell Road. Momo suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Cobb Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police identified the occupants of the Dodge Ram as 44-year-old Charles Warren of Acworth, who was driving, and 24-year-old Benjamin Chittick of Kennesaw, who was a passenger. Authorities said neither occupant of the truck suffered injuries in the collision.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
