Cobb Co., GA — Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Queen Mill Rd

Cobb County, GA (January 28, 2026) — Emergency crews responded to a reported pedestrian-involved collision early Tuesday morning, January 27, on Queen Mill Road, just north of Mount Gerizim Road.

Law enforcement and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene after reports of a person struck by a vehicle in the roadway.

According to authorities, a white 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck traveling northbound on Queen Mill Road struck a man who was walking in the roadway near Highway 139.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the collision.
