Cobb County, GA (December 24, 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed on Monday, December 22, following a collision with a tractor-trailer on South Cobb Drive, according to the Cobb County Police Department.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. near the southbound Interstate 285 ramps. Investigators said a tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on South Cobb Drive when it attempted to turn onto the I-285 on-ramp and collided with a motorcycle traveling southbound.

The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

The Cobb County Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
